The national flag of Guyana was adopted on May 26, 1966. It is rectangular in shape and has a ratio of 5:3 in length to 3:3 in width. The yellow triangle arrow with white side marks two equal and corresponding green triangles on the flag. The triangle arrow contains a red equilateral triangle with black side.
